APPLIANCE SPECIALISTS
Service fees & repair process
Know what happens before the visit, before a repair and when parts are needed.
What does a service visit cost?
Call us to confirm the diagnostic charge and any applicable travel charges for your appliance and location before arranging service. We explain the charges and ask for your agreement before that work begins.
The service call is waived with a completed repair. An assessment without a completed repair is not covered by that offer. Submitting an online request does not take a payment or authorize a repair.
Same-day, weekend and holiday visits.
There are no additional charges just because your appointment is on the same day, a weekend or a holiday. Standard service and repair charges still apply. See our appointment availability and urgent-service information.
Confirm the price before the visit.
- Assessment only: ask for the diagnostic/service-call charge if you decide not to complete a repair.
- Travel: confirm whether your address has an additional travel charge.
- Repair quote: ask what parts, labour and applicable taxes are included, and how the service-call waiver applies.
- More than one appliance: mention every appliance needing attention so the visit scope and charges can be discussed.
Charges are confirmed for your appliance and location. Call 226-228-6200 to discuss your visit. You can ask these questions before submitting an online request.
1. Tell us about the appliance.
Select the brand and appliance, describe the issue and request a preferred visit. Add the model number if readily accessible. Mention stacked appliances, built-in installations and access restrictions.
2. We confirm the arrangements.
Your selected date and time are preferences until we contact you. We check your model, location and whether we can help, then confirm the appointment. Call or book online to request same-day availability. All appointments are confirmed with you; call if you need to change an existing request.
3. Review the assessment and proposed repair.
We assess the fault and explain the findings, proposed repair and its cost before you decide. Ask what is included and what would happen if another issue is found. A symptom selected online is not a diagnosis.
4. Agree on any parts or return visit.
If parts are needed, we discuss availability and the next steps. A return visit is arranged separately; completion on the first visit depends on the assessment and parts required.
After your service.
Keep your service details for future questions. Review the warranty periods and service terms. If the issue returns, call with your service date and a description of what has changed.
Before the appointment, read how to prepare for a repair visit.
